I drove to the Windward side of Oahu the other week to meet Rae and her family, a military family who hail from Texas and are currently stationed in Honolulu. Our photo session at Makapu'u Beach, with the waves crashing against the lava rocks, provided a dramatic backdrop against the setting sun and majestic cliffs.
